yes its an edf50 ductfan ive seen 2 or 3 people useing one. it was cheaper then a pro tail assembly but its alttle on the heavy side at 30 grams /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
had to mix and match parts to get back in the air.
heres what I ended up with

the heli is ready to fly now? you are still quick:-)
tell us about the first flight with the edf-fan.has
the fan enough thrust?you are using the new chassis with the long landing gear?and whats the nice tailboom?it shine´s
so nice /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif only the canopy ,i mean the whole heli
looks a little bit toooo long.you have to modify that a little bit.i´m a german, can you understand my english? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
The fan has more then enough thrust but pulls alot of amps I had to use 3c 1020 kokams to get off the ground.the chassis is the g10 frame from helihobby its light and strong
the canopy is from them too its the fury one.the boom is an aluminum tube from LHS with some carbon rod to stiffin it.the whole heli is not much longer then a stock piccolo.as for video sorry I dont even have a good digital camera /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
