It was such a miracle...so cheap and not just food and sleeping arrangements but indoor flying as well as outdoor flying....24 hour flying...24 hour fellowship...no cooking, cleaning, driving...half the guys didnt even get dressed before their first flight of the day....The only draw back was CRB's snoring.....LOL

You failed to mention we didn't get dress for the rest of the day either. I went into town to the grocery store one day in my pajamas. The cashier had a very strange look on her face. ;)

bring it to England instead :D I could possibly make it then as it wouldn't involve getting in one of those damn newfangled flying contraption aeroplane thingies.

England has a lot to offer a host of flying nuts... We have beurocrats, crap weather, beaurocrats, very few decent indoor venues, grotty accomodation, more beurocrats....and of course the spares will only cost you 4 times what they normally would!!!! hmmmm this isn't going to work is it....

Its unfortunate its so far as NZ would be perfect, we have no rules , our politicians are so dumb they dont know whats going on, basiclly you can do whatever you like,customs will escort you in with complimentary strawberry daquieries,frequencies!?, well! we dont even an airforce so you frequent all you like, plenty of space and you yanks get double the dollar and brits get nearly 3X.
if you hit a sheep you wont get charged with hurting an endangered species and the ranger will proably throw it on the bbq for you anyway!.
i could squeeze at least 30 people in to my model room but would have to keep the noise down as my wife studying in the room next door(as long as you dont mind sleeping standing up!).

we could always surprise sean at heli hobby, he got a flying field and we could camp out in his carpark,at least delivery of spares would be guaranteed :grin:.

WillP2 no diving board or spa, but there is a fish pond that could easily be errr modified with some heaters :p + my mum wont have to know cause ummm if you were quiet she probably wouldn't notice, the nearest station is thathcam train station 10 mins drive from my house so if you gimme a few months ill pick you up in person :grin: umm actually saying that, theres a REALLY nice hotel like within 1 minutes walk from my house called the REGENCY PARK HOTEL got all that snazzy stuff, there a corner shop not 5 mins qalk away with a good supply of jaffa cakes.

i believe thats everything covered then.

Boy if I had the room for everyone I'd be game. Bear in mind though that it would have to be in the winter, and it would be cold, but there'd be nothing in the sky to hit LOL! I already learned what can happen when you fly an ECO over unfrozen water.. it's not pretty! :D

Radd's International Fun Fly. A bunch of the members of this board converged on Nashville, TN last May for a week of fun and heli mayhem. He was planning another one this year, but the grounds they had have become unavailable now. :( There were people there from many different countries.. I missed it due to the birth of my daughter arriving 2 weeks before the RIFF. I was, and am, bummed! :(
