Electronics:
FlightPower 20C 8S 2150 mAh battery
Castle Creations 45HV ESC
Hyperion Z3025/12 motor
Multiplex Polo Digi 4 CCPM servos
Futaba GY-401 gyro
Futaba S9650 tail servo
Futaba FP-R148DP receiver
5V SBEC
Upgrades/setup:
MAH 463 mm carbon fibre rotor blades
Aluminium freewheel
40 tooth aluminium tail gear
19 tooth pinion
Main rotor head thrust bearings
1950 rpm headpeed
Modifications:
Removed tail boom braces
Omitted the brass spacer between the tail rotor feathering hinge bearings
Added spacers to the main rotor head pitch change arms to reduce negative delta
Hi,
fantastic video, good work... :)
Please do some more of them :)
Are you already able to comment on the wearout of bearings, etc when pushing the Royal that hard?

The only bearings I have worn out are the stock mast bearings. I started getting erratic yaw behaviour because of gyro interference when the bearings were worn out. I replaced them with sealed bearings. The main rotor head is holding up fine so far. The screws for the flybar seesaw were unscrewing themselves a few weeks ago and caused a lot of slop in the head, but I retightened them with some medium CA on the threads to lock them and they have stayed in ever since.

Hy Man Nice stuff, but i have any Question to you
You fly a 8s1P (2150 mAh) Setup or a 4s2p Setup (4300 mAh) ?

I fly with 8S1P. I use two 4S 2150 mah batteries in series.

Ok. Now i Understand the Performance of the system. How long can you fly with this Setup.
Do you anything Changed on the Rotorhead, many Peoples has many Problems with it. Can you make some Photos of the Head when you modified it.

I added spacers to the blade grip pitch arms to reduce the negative delta but that didn't do anything. The head is not modified other than that and I still had severe intermittent tracking problems. The thing that helped was to remove the tail boom struts. They caused a resonance interaction between the bottom of the frame and the tailboom which amplified the vibrations and caused an out of track rotor. A stiffer main frame would probably also fix it. I have a theory that the weak point under the tail boom mount where Ikarus cut away lots of material to make room for the tail servo arm is the cause for the resonance interaction. When I removed the tail boom struts the helicopter transformed and became problem free.
I usually fly hard for 5 minutes and use ~60% of the capacity.
Look in the other ECO forum for info on my very modified ECO 16. :)
