Seperate receiver battery or BEC ?

I'm actually giving the final touch to my ECO-8 but I have one question.

Do you use the Bec function or a seperate battery to power your receiver.

What are your opinion on that topic?

Go with BEC if you ESC will stand the draw from 4 servo's and a gyro.

From my experience with Electric Heli's, the thing has landed a long long time before you loose enough power to concern you over the receiver.

Extra weight only equals less flying time, why bother?
