Sports or Performance Motor

I recently bought an Ikarus Sports motor (according to the label and price !) but only after having noticed that this particular motor has Ball Bearings and adjustable timing. Now the last Sports motor I had used bushings and no timing adjustment and failed because the bushings wore out, not unexpectedly ! The old motor seemed expensive for what was a relatively poor spec. So, has Ikarus improved the spec of the Sports motor to make it more worthy of the price tag or did somebody just stick the wrong labels on one batch of motors ?
