High Spec ECO8

Hi All

I have built and flown a normal ECO8 with Sport motor and 7-8 cell 2000mah.

I was so pleased that I have now bought a very high spec ECO+JetRanger and X250-H brushless motor, V45 esc and all tuning parts. I have never used a Brushless motor. Could anyone give tips and advice on perfect battery-pinion combinations and any problems I may get along the way. I will use CCPM mix as in my previous ECO8.

I tried one of these motors in February without much success! Various problems with both the motor and controller had them going back to Ikarus on more than one occassion. Now using the MMR with Brushes without any hitch.
I know some people have had good results with the X250-4H, but interestingly Ikarus no longer supply this motor / controller combination.
Good Luck, and I hope you have one of the better examples, but take it easy for the first few flights just in case.
