BUY the autorotation gear and a mini Gyro, you'll save money...

The autorotation gear allows the rotor to rotate free when the motor is stopped and avoid damaging the main gear.

The gyro will help you a lot to control the heli.

I fly with the "sport motor", the autorotation gear and the IKARUS minigyro. Very nice on 8 cells and enough power for normal flight.

I read that an autorotation gear and a mini gyro will help in flight and possibly in preventing damage.
Should I buy them, or am I wasting money?

Also, I ordered the Ikarus sport motor with my new heli, but have read that brushless motors are better. Should I upgrade right away, or will the sport motor be sufficient for starting out?
