Setting Up Advice

Hi

As a newcomer to the Eco 8 I am looking for a little advice please:

1) Tail Rotor, with throttle set at mid point (hover) and the tail rotor blades folded forward along the boom, I measure about 20mm deflection between the blades when viewed from above. Does this seem normal?

2) My revo mix settings are currently RV High, 40% RV Middle, 20% and RV Low, –40%. I am finding that the Eco turns violently when lowering the throttle. How is your set?

3) Does anyone know the ideal head speed RPM at hover?

Richard,

1 - OK
2 - Try to set your GYRO sensitivity - ECO should not turn around like that. Even beter buy autorotation set for ECO. So when you lower the pitch there will be no negative torque.
3 - about 1100 RPM or a bit higher, it works for me, but I am not sure it is suposed to be like that. My ECO weight is 1500 gr + 610 gr (powerpack 10 cells) = 2110 GR without any mud I pick up on the muddy terain when I land.
