broken screws

While attaching one of the paddles on the rotor head assembly, the screw head broke off leaving the threaded post still screwed all the way into the paddle. Rather than extracting what was left, I was considering placing loctite into the hole where the screw should be. Will this be as strong?
I wanted to get a few opinions before I went ahead and did this.
Any comments are appreciated.
