I have a hitec cg-330 12 volt charger and am wondering whether it is ok to connect it to a 12 car battery trickle charger to charge batteries indoors.
Has anyone done this? Is it normal practice?

Thanks

Fenster,

DO NOT DO THAT!
Better buy 110V/DC 12 V power supply if you want to charge bateries indoors. Or buy another low cost car batery and use it for charging powerpacks for your ECO.

Yes listen to Big eyes, Never charge a charger to charge your batteries. You will burn something down like your house. Get a car battery and charge it first then disconect that charger before you put your heli charger on it. Or get a 12 volt power supply like he said. Astro flight has a real nice one. for under 100.00 bucks and they last forever. This is the safeiest way.

Thanks for your advice. I'm sure I would have burned the house down if I hadn't asked. I picked up a Duratrax Intellipeak charger that run on both 120V wall socket and 12V car battery.
It's great charger so far, with all of the features I'll need.
Thanks again
