Help new x 250-5 and V45 gliching

Guys

Can you help, I bought a 250-5 motor and v45 controller from Midland, have installed it in my ECO running a 8 cell pack on a 17 pinion. I am now trying to trim the heli but have got a big problem with the motor gliching ie stop and then go, while in flight. I wonder if any one has had the same problem. I am about to change the receiver and run the heli on the ground to see if I have the same problems.

Hi Phil,
I have same motor and esc...with 18t pinion.. i've given up running 8 cells- not enough power- loads of bad vibrations. 10 cells= smooth as can be!! Haven't encountered your problem as yet (approx 2 weeks use)i'm using a gws rx. Heard that carbon boom and belt can cause static glitches. Sorry can't be more use... every little helps.. good luck. Hey no shit.. same thing is happening. Motor cuts out then back in??? Anyone else? Nearly lost the bird as she fell 40 feet, motor cut back in 12 feet above ground! Haven't even tried autos yet! Happens every 30 secs or more..... ?! HELP. Bator
UPDATE 16/07/01.. this problem turned out to be radio glitches. Have fitted base loaded rx whip and all is ok.....
