horrid glitchy spluttering tail motor ....

oh and everything was going so well ....

I just did a quick flight inside and found that totally outside my control my tail motor would suddenly jerk in speed (get faster or slower) which really doesn't aid stable flying.

I know it's not the tail motor as when holding full right rudder the tail speed is constant ....

.... actually I've just thought as I'm typing this, my Tx battery was pretty much dead when flying just then (needle on power meter was on 0) - would that make the tail as twitchy as that?
