Yeah, I burned out a motor after about a year. I think they are working pretty hard. But have a bunch of them I bought at Toledo for cheap, so I don't worry about it too much.

I covered mine with some transparent colored plastic film from the local craft store. It does not stretch, and is fairly light. But the ripstop is a better idea I think.

As for the tuck, I think that the added spar is supposed to cure it as well as my added LE rod.

And it really is one of my all time favorite planes. I will be camping in Kansas for a week at a huge music festival, and it is going with me. Much easier to take along on trips than anything except the Piccolos (which are coming too).
