Default Tail pinion - 7, 8 or 9 tooth?

I'm curious which tail pinion most people are using around here. I've been using the 8 tooth all along
on both my piccolos and the tail works okay but I have to wonder if the 9 tooth might make it spin
faster and provide more counter-torque to help out with the Orion main motor.

Heya Chris,

I use an 8t on the tail of mine and it works fine. I have heard of guys having a good run with 9 though..

I'm using 8 with 8 cells and it's holding together so far.

FXAeromodels has them.

Ikarus part# 67374 $3.00 it has 8T, 9T, & 10T but I think they may be plastic sine $3 for all 3.

Or Warren has brass ones. $5.00 each 8T, 9T, & 10T
