Default Tech Support

Does anybody from Ikarus read/respond to this forum?

When you phone the person you finally speak to is vague at best. When you ask a question on this forum it is ignored. Given the high cost and complexity of the items Ikarus sell, is it unreasonable to expect a better level of service?

I would recommend anyone who has not yet parted with their money to consider value of good support in their choice of manufacturers. Perhaps a drop in sales would be the encouragement Ikarus need?

I agree with you Andy. The service is just not up to par. As well, the cost of parts for the ECO family in general, is what is keeping myself and others from purchasing Ikarus products.

I emailed a question about the piccoboard to Ikarus last night and received a reply this morning. Not too shabby.......

Perhaps you could email your contact at Ikarus and ask him why he isn't able to respond to questions posted on his Forum?

i AGREE with you ANDY!! I'VE had a piccolo on order now for 17 days , but have seen nothing.. IKARUS told me they were going to ship dec. 9th . I have e-mailed them several times about my order , but have gotton no replies. NOW from a buisness point : I would make sure i satisfied my customers first. AFTER all, customers are the backbone to any company. NO customers = no buisness. ALL i want is my e-mails answered about my order. IF i don't get 1 soon i'll cancell my order. AND i'll tell everyone about my buisness transaction with IKARUS. WHEN you pay for something you should get it , or atleast get a returned e-mail saying what the hold-up is!! MY credit card has been charged, for the chopper i have not received yet!! SOMETHING SMELLS FISHY...

Hey, I ordered a Picollo here in the US from a distributor and had it NEXT DAY. Maybe you should have ordered it from a distributor who can confirm inventory than from Ikarus, I know it sounds crazy, but you'll probably get better cust. service from the distributor because they are retail oriented vs. Ikarus who is focusing on making the damned things.
Just a thought...
D2tw4all...Built it in 4 hours by the way, damn easy to put together...

Hi, Andy
Yes! I AGREE with you! This is what happened on me. I have ordered one ECOs and other tunnig kits on the Ikarus website in November. But up to now, nothing appears, except of the 'tailboom support' set. What can I do with tailboom-support without ECOs? Eat Chinese food with two long carbon sticks ? Now I'm still waiting for my goods...

Everthing I have ordered from Ikarus has arrived witin 10 days, which seems pretty good service. I guess the problem is when they are out of stock, they don't let you know.

Hi Guys,
I have been dealing with ikarus for roughly 8 months and on the whole the experience has been disappointing.Odered an eco took 2 weeks, ordered an x-250-4hr 5months ago charged for next day still waiting for it,sent a x-250-4hl for a shaft repair 4 months ago have not recieved it yet either. When i do eventually get a reply its along the lines of moving buildings, employee problems. In my opinion if someone sells a product they must have a good contact service, which they have in place however they probably do not have the people to cope with the demand. We must remember the eco series helis are very very good so demand must be high,a product of their own success i guess. These experiences have not put me off as i said they are fantastic little machines, with only minor niggles.Always try and deal with your countrys supplier not the manufacturer.

Yes!
I have the worst experience as you, anthony. I'm still waiting for my ECO 16 since last November. Recently, I placed another two orders to Ikarus. One of my orders contains a motor 'X250-4H' and the speed control 'V90'. and a few ago, I finally got a package, but the motor and speed control were not in that package. More, I found that they wrote the wrong address on the package. Now, I think I should start praying for another package.
I don't know why you did not provide the order processing status on their web, as Towerhobbies does? Sometimes, I felt cheated by them, especially after when they told me they did not know where my ECO 16 to fly to.
I do not know when I could stand their worst service till. Now I'm still waiting for my ECO 16, speed controls, and motor. Yes! Now, MORE THINGS DO I HAVE TO BE WAITING FOR...
