Default Shortage of tail motors for piccolos ?

My recent purchase of a Fun pic was missing it's tail motor (the kit was obviously used as a doner for a replacement as the package was cut to allow the removal of it) and after contacting the retailer was told that they have some on order, but as Perkings were not back at work to 6/1/2003 it would not be due in until last wednesday.

I e-mail the retailer as I had not received anything and I had a reply today - none of the motors were on the order and they can't guarantee if they will be in this wednesday So it looks like I'm grounded, and I must admit I'm now no longer in any hurry to get the thing built as it I won't be able to complete the thing in time for the Helinutz meeting this weekend

Malc,

Email me your address (physical). I have quite a few spare new ones right now, so I'll send you one over. Probably take about a week from NZ to UK, but at least you'll know one is on the way . No charge - just 'pay it forward'

Don't do it, you'll end up getting stabbed at the school and later that night, everyone will show up at your house holding candles and singing touchey feely songs. Not a pretty way to go.

I know you don't like them much but Midland had some the other day as I got a spare. I'd let you have it if the tail motor on mine hadn't died a few hours after it arrived

Gee thanks f1shlips! I haven't seen that movie yet, and now you've gone and spoiled it by telling me what happens.

Some mate you turned out to be!

ROTFLMAO

John,

Thanks for your kind offer - I sent a mail from work mail me off the board and we'll sort out something in exchange

Mark (MRP) is also going to loan me one on Friday when we meet up for a flying session (looks like I'm flying the Eco 8 inside again )

Malcolm,

I have three and can let you have one on Thursday. Are we meeting Thursday or Friday ?

Wes Tek have some cheaper alternatives as that's where I got mine from. About £5.45 plus p&p arrived next day when I ordered them.

Regards

Jerry
