Default Pro pack in fun

Can i use the following battery pack in a fun piccolo? Its only £2 more than the 700mah twicell pack, any ideas? i want to order one tonight so i need to know asap, regards, Chris.

Pack = Piccolo Pro 10.8v 700mah Twicell Nimh AAA Pack

That is a heavy pack, about 112g, and very high voltage. I reckon it would work but crucify the tail motor. The main would get pretty warm too.

So better to go with the 700 Mah twicell pack then. Is it any good? 9.6v is 8 cells, so it shouldnt be too bad

Yes. Not everybody I've met with Sanyo twicells has had success with them in the Piccolo, though Sanyo undoubtedly make good cells.
If you don't want to make up your own packs form the Maplin Vanson 750s, then take a look at Overlander's site, some of the Leominster fliers were using their 650s with some satisfaction.

OK, i will have a quick browse on overlander, although their prices are quite ££!!. Thanks for the feedback, i'll let you all know which ones i choose, regards, Chris.
