Default flight time

i just went through the longest flights ever from myself. full battery and only 2 touchdowns. but i noticed that when i use tail L or R, i would lose elevation and so would up throddle to maintain heigth. any comments???

well thats simply the tail rotor draining power from the battery to compensate for the torque of the rotors, and as a result the blades slow down, causing a reduce in altitude, this is normal, my heli used to do this until i sorted out a better battery pack.

Nose right. more power to tail, batt. voltage falls. heli drops slightly.
Nose left. less power to tail, batt. voltage rises .heli climbs slightly.
You are doing well to notice this, it shows you are "tuning in" to your heli.
The better the battery the less effect (batt. internal resistance is less)
