Default Will P\'s cyclic pushrods

This was in my "must do" list ever since it was posted.
http://www.ikarus-modellbau.de/ubb/F...ML/001750.html

I've gone through 2 sets of original pushrods before I fashioned a pair with 1mm music wire. But these are so hard to adjust. Either I'm too close or too far and never right.

I've noticed wolfpacked is using this mod so I finally gave up on the music wire and tried this mod tonight. Mine are pretty much the same as Will's original setup except I used short aluminum tubings to attach the ball links.

Oh what a joy! I finally got my bird in trim. I don't have to trim my TX after power up. And they look so cool . Thanks Will!

Glad you like gonzo sure makes you feel a bit more technically superior in that area rather than bending two bits of wire

my 2 pence/cents have not had to readjust since 1st trimming no matter what I do. That in itself was worth it to me. many thanks for this mod

Just an update on this mod. I just flew with uncut stock blades and now I can hover without touching the cyclic stick (mode 2 ) for full minute within a 4'x4' space . I can't do this with my cut blades. Maybe they are too sensitive with O ring mod.

Anyway, I think this is definately one of the "must do" mods the newbies should attempt at the beginning. This mod makes trimming much much easier. I've posted couple of photos of my version of this mod.

Will, you mean for the clevis? No, these clevises came with those brass screw inserts. I've bought these from Hobby Lobby and according to them, these are popular "old" item in England but they are new to US.

They are kind of chunky but they sure are convenient .
