I bought two 2C 1020's from Radical RC for @27 each plus the connector. Good service & nice work, no complaints from me.

I made my first five (3 series) sets...then let Steve at DreamHobbies build the two two (2 series) sets. I think he has a competetive price.

Thanks guys for the info, so now I need to figure out which ones I need, I'm running a standard picc board and an orion motor, I would also like to be able to put them on my hornet if possible and it too is mostly stock, eventually I plan on getting brushless in both of these, any suggestions?
Thanks again, Andy |

If you are running the Orion...use the two pack 1020's, the Hornet will need more...depending on the motor. I just tried the Pic on 1020X2 and it was nice. I need to fix one of the paddles as I swapped the Hornet ones for the Pro ones. Can't say the paddles made a difference but they sure need balancing. The Orion, like so many have stated recently will not last long on the 3X1020's. I tried them for about 6 min and ok, but chose to follow the boards advice and wait for the two packs. I am glad I did as it seems the Orions are dropping like flies. But then some are having success...go figure...Tom
