Unfortunately there is no such thing as a cheep Piccolo unless you find a person wanting to just get rid of it. The helicopter kit alone is around $100, but then you need all the things to control it and that can cost at least $300. There is no cheeper way to go with a piccolo.

The only way to get into it cheaper is to find a used setup that someone wants to dump. But be very careful with a used setup. Many times they are being sold because they don't fly well and that is likely because of damage or inappropriate components that you will need to spend money to replace.

Electric micro helis are simply not inexpensive. They are very specialized little bits of machinery and you should figure on spending the bucks to get one in good shape with appropriate accessories (transmitter, receiver, battery packs, charger, etc.).

I may be interested in your Piccolo package. Shoot me an email: trikster_online@hotmail.com I had a package I was looking at fall through because of European band versus the US 72mHz. Let me know, I have money ready. (I am also in CA, do you have any pictures?)

Yes, definately send me an email. Does your Piccolo have the bearings yet, or is it just bushings still?
