does anyone know where i can get a cheap piccolo please because i am really interested in buying one of them. i have found ones for about $119 dollars but hey arent fully built and need extra parts [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] I am new to helicopters so i dont know all the ins and outs of it [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] would it be worth buying a kit? please help [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Unfortunately there is no such thing as a cheep Piccolo unless you find a person wanting to just get rid of it. The helicopter kit alone is around $100, but then you need all the things to control it and that can cost at least $300. There is no cheeper way to go with a piccolo.

The only way to get into it cheaper is to find a used setup that someone wants to dump. But be very careful with a used setup. Many times they are being sold because they don't fly well and that is likely because of damage or inappropriate components that you will need to spend money to replace.
Electric micro helis are simply not inexpensive. They are very specialized little bits of machinery and you should figure on spending the bucks to get one in good shape with appropriate accessories (transmitter, receiver, battery packs, charger, etc.). |

ive got a completely stock piccolo fun ready to fly package im putting together with new parts.
it has a regular piccoboard, gws reciever, pico servos, gws transmitter, upgraded MIA landing gear (wont break) and aluminum tail booms (extras included). jeti battery charger, and 3 battery packs (2) 7cell, and (1) 8cell. its fiarly stock aside from the upgrades mentioned. im looking to get $250 for it. |

ill send an email later tonight, i just got parts from helihobby today that need to be installed on the helicopter.
and i am going to pick up the aluminum booms from the local hobby store tommorrow so I can have pics then of it completed then. i have a picture of the body, batteries and charger right now though. mine are US, and on channel 48. |
