Hi everybody!, i am in the process of trying to get my eco8 set up. I have a mega 22/20/3h motor in it and i am using 10 cells. The problem is that when i bring rotor head up to speed and when i am just about to lift off the tail wags from side to side so bad i have to reduce power and set back down. I turned the gyro gain all the way down and it still does the same thing!. Could i have too much throw on my tail rotor making it extra sensitive? i have my gyro mounted on the tail boom, could that be causing problems? Any help would be appreciated, and this board is great, i am glad i found it as this is my first electric heli, (flew slimers for a few years), thanks!

I wouldn't mount the gyro on the tailboom. There's a lot of vibration there from the belt/tail rotor etc. I made a small plastic platform that mounts under 2 of the lower frame screws inline with the mainshaft to get it as close as possible to the center of rotation. The vibrations in your tailboom are probably freaking out the gyro.
