Any "Creative" ideas on how to mount the canopy?

I have a FP piccolo and I often break loose that CF rod that the canopy secures itself on, OK, not often All Of The Time! Now, I wish that everytime I flew I did it perfectly but right now, we tend to have a few mishaps! I have Marios retro fit landing gear and with the Astro just finding a place for that rod is a challenge. I have tried a few things with velcro but thought I would ask you all out there. Seen lots of other good ideas so how about it?

Try using some thicker CA and use an activator. Worked on mine. Failing that use a hot glue gun.

yeah use CA, I use a bit of cotton wrapped around bits that are prone to coming loose and then CA on top.
