Default Futaba GY501 or JR G460?

Which of these would be better suited for the ECO 8, or are both of them too large?

I've got the JR G460T on my ECO and although it holds superbly I wouldn't recommend it. It work very well in both modes, but you can't switch between modes while flying. It's a switch on the gyro.

I thought the 460 was TX switchable.. I have the G410T, which is not. I'll have to check it out.

Sorry Buzz! Wasn't indicating that I doubted you, rather that I mistakenly thought that the 460 was tx switchable. My bad!

Anyone ever play with the CSM ICG540?

The gy401/9253 is more than you will ever need. This combo will perform MUCH better than a gy502 and hitec hs81 (or any non digital servo). This combo really is amazing!

Isn't the 9253 full size and weighs a ton?

What about a CSM400/420 if you don't mind something a bit larger? I'm putting a 420 on my Eco 8 after I give the GY240 one last chance as we discussed yesterday
