Unusual problem?

My setup is astro 14T with Pic Plus board. Now when I first turn on the heli and throttle up I have no problems with tail control. However, if I am practicing some piros and jack the throttle from hover, the tail compensates for that action. When I throttle back down, it seems that the gyro now wants to heavily over correct as if it were still fighting that action. If I power down and back up it is a ok again. Until I again go from an easy hover to high throttle. If I fly mild it never has a problem. I can't seem to figure out any reason behind it. I have CF blades and I have tried increasing/decreasing gyro gain. No luck. Some what sketchy gyro? Any ideas?

Have you tried turning of the board and resetting after you adjust?i think when i had the board it was only the mix that could be adjusted whilst still on but the gain had to be reset?.

Yes, I always power down and back up after making any adjustment to the Picoboard. Still no luck.
