5mm pinions in UK

Anyone know where i can get them in uk,can only find 3.2mm at lhs.

Kontronik squadron ey??? good choice! when did you get that?

Have not actually got it yet,ordered from GALAXY tuesday after my sport motor started playing up.Kontronik seemed the way to go,so many people recomend them .Have ordered pinion`s from midland heli`s.

great, thats where i got mine from, go easy on the sticks when first flying that motor, if you push that throttle stick hard forward she'll soon be a dot in the sky!

um its pretty straight forward, you have to decide wether or not you want to run in governor mode or not. It's mode 4 on the smile i believe. That is how i fly, i dont use the smile i use the Beat 40-6-18 but i think the set up is pretty much the same. if you do want to run in governor mode then there is a few steps to take that arn't descibed in the booklet very well. I can point you to a site that shows yous how to do it..

Would you advise governer mode ,I`m only at hover ?

well i was advised to go governor when i was only at hover and i have never looked back! Its a lot less hassle as you dont have to worry about pitch curves and throttle curves. For instance i now run in two modes, one with a flat throttle curve of 70% for hovering and low ground work and one at 85% for acrobatics. and my pitch curve is linear. so basically all i control in flight is the changing of pitch and the governor will maintain the head speed for me depending on how much load i subject it too!
