My FP Pic is knackered

OK, this is a rant because I can't make up my mind what to do.

I've known for a while the remaining original parts (and several other bits!)of my pic were coming to the end of their useful life, and I've now come to accept the fact it aint gonna fly again until I do something about it. Problem is I just can't make up my mind what to do.

Just smashed another set of blades because (finally figured out) that the main motor is pretty much dead and just has not got the power to recover from anything more violent than mild forward flight. worked that one out when I could see the sparks from the other end of the garden. Tail motor is also on its way out, and I need a new head as the previously posted head wobble now measures about 2-3 inches at blade tip ( [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img])

So, I want to upgrade. Can I make up my mind? can I heck.
mostly down to cash admittedly, but I don't want to spend on one thing, then buy another 6 months down the line.

Do I go for the orion, which means I don't need a new ESC, or do I go brushless and sell one of my other toys?

Do I go for a pro tail motor (grey end cap?) or do I go direct drive?

Depending on the above, do I go standard blades cut down to suit and change pinion, or do I get different blades altogether?

I feel like Eco8_Kid here - I feel the need for spoon feeding, cos I sure as hell cant make my fri&&ing mind up!!!!

AND I still havent come to a conclusion on the charger (though at least you guys have narrowed it down to 2!!! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img])

Right, Rant over for at least ten minutes. I think about the only decision I have come to is I want to keep the P'Board, so that should ensure that fails in the next couple of weeks [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Pro tail motor can be used for direct drive (aparently..) so you can't go wrong there. I'm using it as a direct drop in replacement for the original stock tail on my FP and it really really is rock solid with the HH module (I've not had any of the problems with wagging which other people have complained about).
