What connectors did you guys use for separates?
Did you use all 2mm gold one like from Hilcott electronics, or use some of those BEC connectors like the ones on the original battery? Also did you change the connectors on the tail motor wires and if not do you have any idea where to source similar connectors. I would value some opinions, including whether to forget the connectors and solder everything [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]. Cheers |

I use 2mm gold connectors from overlander, never had a problem with them [/ QUOTE ] i've had a few problems with 2mm connectors: the male connectors with the spingy contacts are only squeezed onto a pin that runs through the whole connector, and after lots of plugging in and unplugging it can work itself loose .... so the simple solution is to put a blob of solder on the tip to hold the springy contacts onto the pin - works a treat and can indeed increase flight times marginally - less power wasted in heating the connectors!
