Well I received my USB cable from rc-electronics this morning. I can tell you that my JR378 *does* output all mixes through the buddy box/DSC connector, so you *can* use the TX mixes to fly in the sim.

I've setup a new model though using the plane settings to just get the four basic channels with no mixing.
