Default GWS 4 Channel Radio Transmitter

Anyone have hands on experiance with the GWS transmitter that comes with the piccolo fun all-on-one package. Love-it? Hate it? Just getting started and what to take advantage of the great deals going on. After the inital purchase of the All-in-one, I have an extra $40 and was wondering if it is money well spent to upgrade the transmitter to a Hitec 4 Channel or to purchase an extra battery. I would say get an extra battery pack. For a good radio
(usable also for CP) you will have to pay surely more than
$200.

I am leaning that way, but I also don't want to be stuck with a transmitter that is a piece of ....well, not of very good quality. Has anyone used this transmitter?

I am using it. It does its job for my pic Fun. Good thing is that it's inexpensive, bad thing is well... you need to have lots of AA cells(8 at a time). Batteris seems last 3 to 4 weeks if pic is flown 2 to 3 times per day. or, you can use rechargeble batteries.
