2nd PICCOBOARD

HELP ! I have installed the second Piccoboard in my Piccollo after the first one failed in a very short time. Now this one is acting up ! on a full charge it will now only fly about 30 seconds! - the battery checks out fine ! Anyone have any ideas or suggestions. Is there a problem with the picco board design ? is anyone else experiencing these kinds of problems with the picco board ?

The Piccoboard works most of the time. I even think that more than half that are returned and replaced are working as they should.

The problem could be the tx, motors, gear mesh, servos, slipping pinions, pack, charger, weight, pitch or something new that we have not seen yet

Give us more info and I'm sure we can help you.

I'm with J. What your describing could be many things. So, we need a list of any mods you've made, the size and type of battery, the charger you use, and what kind a Transmitter you have. This way we can pick it apart until something shows up. Thx, Eric S. NLE81800

Dear Jack,
I had the same problem with mine a few days ago.Found out that the pinion was slipping.

If this has been a problem since new it sounds like the dreaded Futaba stick limiter, if its a new problem I would go for the slipping pinion theory.

I haven't had any problems w/my piccoboards (4) until yesterday when the gyro just stopped working w/no warning whatsoever. has anyone else ever had this prob? It stopped working in mid air. Not the result of a crash, but being that it stopped working, it caused one.
