this setup gonna work?

I'm putting together a FP pic with a the picco board plus w/HH gyro. I bought 3 cell litho polys and plan on using the 310 motor and the pro tail motor. Is this set up gonna work well? not gonna draw to much and will the piccoboard run the higher voltage ok? Eventually I'll go seperates but I don't want to spend the money right now.

It'll work fine, Lozmod uses a similar setup and its very good. The Liths are what make the difference.

You will probably have to use a smaller pinion on the main motor and/or cut your mainblades, otherwise you will hover at about 1/4 stick.

I am planning the same setup so now I won't have to ask, I've read using a Li-Po pack with the high athority motor in the tail will be harder to get the CG but I just noticed Kokam now has the 1500-3S that Weighs 103g and my NIMH 8-cell Weighs about 115g so this setup should get me some killer flight time and the CG should be not to hard to get. Just need two things first.... Need to learn to fly this little bugger and get some heat sinks for the motors.
