Default severe glitching

It all started a couple of days ago, I started to get the odd "hit". It slowly got worse until now, if I plug in a battery it goes completly mad!
I was experimenting and some of the channels also seem to be mixed up.
e.g, The cyclic controls seemed to affect the tail rotor.

I have checked the antenna is not in contact with CF or anything

Any ideas on what this might be?

• Aerial on Tx screwed in tight?
• Tx batteries fully charged?
• Tx aerial fully extended?
• Antenna on Piccoboard damaged in anyway?
• Loose capacitors on motor?
• Loose crystal?
• Dodgy crystal?

I could go on ...

jof, nothing to add here, just that I think a dodgy antenna connection to be the most likely.......uh, maybe!

If all else fails your welcome to use my parts in order to track down the culprit

Thanks for the replys guys, I have checked TX batteries, antenna etc.
I ownly have one crystal that fits in the piccoboard but i have 2 piccoboards. One has a failed speed control. My feindish and cunning plan is to separate both boards, and use the reciver from one and the speed control/gyro from the other
Let you know how it works out.

Scott, we must meet up sometime and do some flying. Let me know if there is a good time for you

Well, it looks like its working. I just combined the two damaged boards into one working board.
I think i might go separates though. I have a couple of gws micro 4 channel recievers and some ICS50 speed controls. Just add a gyro and that should work shouldnt it?

ICS100 for the main motor I've heard - needs to take at least 3-4 amps constant ...
