Default OT - Draganflyer

My boss just bought the Draganflyer IV. Took a couple weeks to be delivered but it came this morning. He's got the thing together after about an hour, now he's waiting for the transmitter batt to charge.

I have two fears:

1) Knowing him, he's just slapped it together, only referring to the instructions when he's stumped. He already told me he has a couple parts and some screws left over. He won't pay any attention to the manual or the instructional video, just lose patience and say "I'm gonna take off, how hard could it be?" and smash it into a hundred pieces. 2) He'll do everything in (1) except it'll fly like a dream, after it's taken me a year to learn to just hover the damn Picc. In that case I'll have to sabotage it when he goes to the bathroom.

Let me know how it goes for him, or even better yet if you get your hands on it how does it fly? I am thinking about getting one and was wondering how it would compare to the Pic.

Okay I just got this monstrosity in a good hover on my second try. Damn thing is stable and easy as hell to fly.

My boss is having all kinds of trouble holding the tail, but that's to be expected with a beginner.

I can't believe he's got this thing assembled and flying in under two hours. I hadn't progressed this much with the Picc in two months. AAARRRGH!!!

Now he's talking about hooking up the onboard video camera. Bah humbug!
