Using the Luxor Tx as a trainer box

I have the Luxor Nova 6 Tx that comes with the Ikarus packages, but just upgraded to an Eclipse 7. Can the "simulator" port on the Luxor be used to connect to the trainer jack of my Eclipse? If so, what kind of connector/adaptor would I need?
