First check this out.
http://www.unotelecommlab.org/amaust...os/video01.htm This video system is mounted on the voyager and it only added four ounces. Next video system is to be mounted on a Piccolo. Weight is going to be under one ounce for this system. |

Neat stuff Andrew,
I have also been fooling around with video as well. I bought a system from wirelessvideocameras.com and have been flying it on an airplane. It is also 2.3ghz but it weighs around 16oz or so with the batteries. I suppose if I reduced it to bare minimum and used shorter duration batteries it could be cut to 8oz or less. Also, I assume you are using the aircraft electric motor batteries for everything. Good luck on the Piccolo. I haven't thought of doing anything that small. If you want to check out my airborne video come over to my website. Ron ------------------ Ronald Monsen http://www.wright-flyer.net/desertaviation ![]() |
