Default Helihobby selling junk

Got both of these today, went to mount....DAMNIT. The pitch slider wouldn't even slide on all the way with all my force. The auto unit needed to be glued as the one-way bearing was coming out of the unit. I'm also disappointed Sean has taken up selling WARRENS design from another mfg. It's not just a little like Warrens, they're exactly like his

Sean, someone should kick your ass for selling this CRAP. Please do not post here saying you'll exchange the garbage, I've made it fit but I'd like to warn others to only buy the genuine parts from www.precisionmodelproducts.com

Why not try to rectify the situation with Sean instead of blasting him on the forum? If you dislike him that much why did you purchase from him in the first place?

Telling him you'll 'kick his butt and not to post back here' should be taken offline between you and him. Why would you think the rest of us would want to hear that and be drug into it? Then you try to promote PMP and encourage us to buy from them instead???

If you had been respectful, saying hey guys, got some products that aren't quality and I'm disappointed, blah blah blah, then I would find your criticism more worthy and trustful and possibly I would consider another brand or manufacturer. That would have been useful information for me anyway.

Drug into it? did I drag you into this? LOL. Take a look at the older posts and see if people haven't reported problems time and time again with his products, nothing changes. And I'm very disappointed to see he's supporting a companys that steals designs from GOOD people with BETTER products. Thats MY point..what was yours? sticking up for a snake? oh ok.

Go get drug into another post.

It seems to me that Sean has some quality control issues. There's nothing wrong with the parts per se. But, judging by the number of posts about them here, there seem to be a large number of them which have not been manufactured within tolerances - binding pitch sliders, ali heads which are too tight, and wobbly main gears seem to be common problems. Now every manufacturer has his share of rejects, but it seems nobody at HeliHobby is filtering the rejects out from the good stuff and it's all getting sent tdirect to the customers. It's already put me off buying from HH ever again, and I wonder how many other customers he's lost because of this one simple issue?

My view (for what its worth), is that retailers should value and not ignore or hate our feedback. If they are selling something that you're really not happy with, or the service is abysmal, then there is nothing wrong with posting about it. The mark of a quality retailer would be to reply if he read it, and attempt to rectify the situation.

If no one provides feedback, how can people improve their service? And if the customer chose to make such feedback public, then he obviously means it, and retailers should listen. It isn't 'being nasty' or anything, and its going too far to effectively shun people who post negative feedback. You certainly wouldn't shun him if he was saying what a great product is was or whatever. And its useful for potential customers too.

This about sums it up. Guys, my apologies for being so harsh in my thread. My arms were super tired from sanding for two hours fighting with the main shaft. My big problem with it is, the point that theres been plenty of time to remedy these problems and I shouldn't have to wait around >4 days to fly my helicopter. I also didn't realize he had dropped Warrens parts completely. I was raised to understand this is just bad business.

Guys, lets stop and think about it...you design something and the biggest retailer starts selling it (mind you Sean has built up his business on the fact that he does "good" buiness) then they turn around and start selling the same exact items from another mfg, pull your items and leave you out in the cold.

PLUS! the parts don't even compare. Your choice I guess but there are plenty of other fast shippers here in the US such as:

www.fxaeromodels.com
www.dreamhobbies.com
www.precisionmodelproducts.com
and the latest, www.slyshobbyden.com

Personally I'm pleased you posted your experience. I take your tone with a pinch of salt, I'm as bad as the next man when it comes to bad attitude at times .

The one thing that amazes me is with the laughable state of your country, in terms of some one can't even fart on a train without being sued, Warren doesn't seem to have done anything about the blatant ripp off happening here, although if he has I suppose we wouldn't know about it until things are settled.

Anyway, it's your own fault for buying from HH in the first place

Yes but I think you need to copywrite which costs more then it's worth probably in this case(please don't quote me -- I truely have no idea). My bad attitude doesn't come out much but when it does LOOK OUT! I hope no one else holds it against me but I do like to be blunt, even more so when I know Sean will give me that same old snow job and send me the same exact part "asap".

Warren if you're out there, have a good christmas man. We know Sean's going to.

As we are on the subject of suppliers, I'll just get in my €0.02

I'm sick of the HH thing now, I've bought and been OK as have others but too many people haven't, others appear to be ripped off and copied and all this without any easy way of contact unless they happen to live near the shop, emails go unanswered, no phone no, no comment here except for some idiot who appeared for a couple of posts reckoning he was going to put it all right and then dissappeared back into the ether. This is no way to run a business or maybe HH makes so much from the people who go in the shop, those they serve from afar and the ones who just lie down and accept the crap that the few complainees don't matter . At the end of the day you reap what you sow and they'll get their comeuppance but I do think all the blatant crowing and self promotion on here should be stopped somehow
