Would it be ok to use a Kokam 1500 2s with a stock piccolo set up using a DD with pro tail motor? The pack weighs 80g.

I have the stock 295 but have a 310 on the way. The batt is heavier than my etech 2s 1200 and biger but yesterday I accidently cut a cell in my etech pack while trying to cut the shrink wrap off so naturally the pack is permanantly ot of commision although I still have the good cell left. Will the Piccoboard and main and tail motor handel the kokam 1500's?

A 2s Kokham 1500 pack will have the same Voltage as a 2s Etech 1200 pack. The only difference will be in the capacity & the ability of the motor to draw more out of the pack.

The weight of the 2s Kokacm 1500 pack is still better
then 7 NiMH, so I would definitely go for the 1500 pack. I guess that you can expect very long flight time ... Jiri |

Well thanks for the info. I have it all straped in and ready for it's first flight. I was just waiting to see if my little picco was gonna fry with the new batt. But out we go to give it a try. Thanks again.

1 have 2 pack of kokam 1500 3 cell and each pack is 90g so a 2 cell pack should be just 60g / 65g but i have seen people using 2 cell 1500 at my club and all seems ok (by the way i dont use my 3 cell on my pic very hot motor )
i have got some 3 cell 1200 and if i was going to put these on my pic i would go for 2 cell 1200 because of the size and they run in at 45g proper job |
