Awww, come on man. I bet the whole problem is the battery you've got. I had the same problem with my old 8c 600 mah battery, now yours. A good Powerex or sanyo pack should get it up.

Four YEARS? How much have you spent on spares? It's definitely possible to fly.

COME ON! After four years of effort, you are going to just give up? I agree, your battery is the problem. Don't give up now!

Can you come to San Fernando Valley and I'll help you get into the air. It's only a 45 minute drive, anyone in your family able to bring you up?

I feel your pain.. I have racked up some major debt trying to bulletproof and repair my cp piccolo.

I havent had a stable hover yet.

It really makes it difficult not having anyone to help and not being able to get parts for months at a time.

Yep i spent two years on the cp pic,got it flying was ok but was never happy and spent more time altering it.tried the hornet and bam, flying every night since i got it.
Not dissing the pic just stating my experience,i think i spent enough on the cp pic to warrant a little whisper.
Now !what to do about the pic ,there is obviously a problem somwhere! no on seems to defend it,is it just that it has been superseeded or is it due to inhert fault(the latter i believe as per usual with the cyclic crossover).

Yep, well there's the proof of the pudding. Some of us have got what it takes, others haven't.

Hmm after 3 months with an LMH gasser and an original FP pic I bought my current pic pro and assembled with separates and carbon blades upgrade (never even assembled the stockers).
Settled straight into a stable hover on its first lift off. I had never flown CP before but I had sooo much advice and help with the setup it was a snap.

Its sad the cp pic gets a bad rap all the time, mine has flown sweet from the start.
