Default Failsafe programming on Berg?

I just got the new Berg 6 with failsafe. It comes with default programming to fly-wheel HOLD mode on (which holds the last good signal) but there is another option called failsafe which is default OFF. If on, the receiver goes to whatever servo settings you have programmed after 2 seconds of lost signal.

Any thoughts on keeping failsafe off or turning it on?

Thanks,
Kris

Default Re: Failsafe programming on Berg?

Yeah !set the fail safe to perform a perfect landing on designated spot x!.I dont think it makes any differnce as what ever you set is going to be determined by the location and the terrain so any setting is going to end up with the same result(who knows).
The only benefit i can see to a fail safe is on gas powered planes to turn the motor of if its going in! at least if it hits someone it will just be a lump of 5 kg hitting someone rather than a lump of 5 kg with a spinning prop(take your pick).
