Default GY401 GYRO???

Hi guys,ant one using a gy401 futaba gyro in a pro at all,if so what results have you had ????

I have my fury exper with that gyro, Imagine if it does not works, Why I would be using it in a 2500 usd heli. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
In my Pro I'm Using a GY240, the 401 is overkill.

All my helis have GYs and they have been great. You don't really need the 401 unless you want to control the gain via the transmitter. The 240 is controlled via a pot and the 401 is remotely controlled via the Tx. I have a 401 in my CP, but I've never used the remote function. So my advice is just get the 240...it's cheaper anyway.

If your getting the 240 why not spend the extra 20 quid and get the 401? The piro rate of the 240 is sub standard and the 401 is pure quality. If you can't afford the 401 save some cash and get the CSM200

When using the 401 and with tail motor speed control where do you set the servo travel pot on the gyro???

Leave it at 100%. This will give you the full linear range of the ESC.
