THINK I'V WRECKED ME KOOMAM'S . WHAA!! WHAA!

I was conducting some ground based experiemnts with a new Westek DC5-2.4 coreless motor and some DD props. Now my two cell's each read 2.73volts & 2.90volts and they wont take a charge from a nice fresh 12volt battery.

I assume Im buggered, might be time to get some 1500mah on my Pinnacle and pass my 1200mah down the line to the Piccolo. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

Freaky I gave up charging them and started to charge my 3 cell pack. Thought I would give it another attempt and now the light has turned red giving the impression that the are charging. I think I might try and balance that high cell if I can get the pack fixed

The only good thing to do with a dead pack is to stab em with something metal or shoot em with an airgun and watch the fireball. Great fun, stay well clear though. But hopefully my wallet will not become £38 lighter and I wont have to stab em in the garden

Try charging each cell individually and record their peak, you want them to be within 0.03mV of each other and you want to allow them to charge to completion.

I also suggest you check each cell's discharge capacity.

Remember to change your charger's setup if you currently are charging 2 cell packs and switch to a single cell. Charging a single 4.2v cell to 8.4v would most likely result in a fire [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

im pretty sure i remember reading that a slow charge from below 3v a cell and you should be fine. so chuck them on charge indevidualys at like 200ma.
