First flight with Lipos plus Lipo saver

I've just rebuilt my pic using hot melt glue (Thanks Hogster, 100% better than double sided tape). The first flight using a brand new 3 cell Etec 1200 gave me 24 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and this is at 50% throttle. I'm using a Ac1215/20 brushless with a phoenix 10, I have some more severly cut blades I need to balance and track etc and this might even get higher times...yipeeee.

By the way I've made a lipo saver with two leds Red and green giving both safe Green and Danger red (9volts) all for under £2 bits bought at maplin (UK). It worked perfectly for the first flight, green light for 24 minutes and then the red light came on with the green one still on (a sort of amber) so I landed. I anyone is interested I will sort out a circuit diagram, the hardest part is soldering it all together into the lightest smallest parcel.

I would be willing to pay a few for it [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img], or post plans, I will attaempt to make. I usually can do these thing, just the concepts scare me.

OH YEAH, ripping apart 2, yes 2 CD roms as we speak...

I didn't weigh it before attaching to my pic but the components for a second one didn't even register on my kitchen scales. Probably with wire about 1 gram.

15K 0.6W metal film maplin code M15K
12K 0.6W metal film maplin code M15K

If you want to use for 2 lipo cells the change the 12K resistor for a 3K.
