Whoops, busted picc pro but I hovered for few seconds on first flight
Guys,
I just had to share with you my first flight after all the help that you have kindly given me building the picc pro.
Last night i spent a few minutes practising scooting around the floor, and for some reason when I applied the throttle the heli just wanted to go left regardless of how much lean to the right I gave it. So I popped into the model shop on the way home and they suggested that the reason is because I am not giving it enough throttle to get up a few inches off the floor.(newbie nerves I guess)
So when I got home, I thought, I have got a few quid left on the credit card so lets go for it. I put the heli on the patio and powered her up, and then she started to hover WAHAAAAAAAY!!! there really is no feeling quite like it. (about 10 seconds I think)
Then the obvious happened and the heli decided to wander over the left, I bought it nearly back to control, but at this point it was 4 foot in the air and it decided to head straight for the wall.
Oh well, a trip down to the model shop again tomorrow for a new collective pitch sleeve/tail rotor/blades and it should be up and running again.
Thanks again guys, is this the start of heli fever???
