just building a pro and the tail pinion and tail gear seem very rough.there is a little bit of free play.is this because of the metal pinion.my fp tail is very smooth no noise which is plastic on plastic.how loose can you go on tail mesh with out striping.thanks.

When i went through the same thing i noticed that too especailly compared to the stock motor set up.if you go dd you get perfect mesh everytime [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].
to your question about how far out the mesh can go unfortunately is to try it out but by that time it would be to late right!i did find though that once the pro motor started up the coarseness did not seem to effect it in flight and it was quite smooth,it may be having stronger magnets inside that makes it feel coarse as the gears it turns ar so light that they will show up anything. Try it in flight and then decide your plight!. |

I get the same 'problem' only the set up does not seem able to counter the rotor torque, even if I give it left left stick.
Does DD generate additional power as well as solve the apparent mesh problem? |
