Default New Smart UK 35Mhz Receiver

A little heavy at 14g

Well so far, so good
3 Tx xtals
Chns 62, 68 and 78
a simple button push (recessed) on Rx
and the new Rx locks to the Tx Freq.

I may remove the case next
to save a few grams

Surely you have to make sure that not other TX's are on when you do that though? For example if you were at a heli meet and wanted to reset to a different frequency, but other people were flying at the same time how would the RX know which frequency is yours?

Correct, my inital thoughts exactly !

In practice you place your Tx within 30 cm of the Rx Ant.
set the Rx to "scan" check your Tx is moving the controls then store.

It seems to work fine
I suspect the Rx AGC is swamped by the high local signal
and simply won't see another Tx
But I wouldn't do it with another Tx within 6 feet

Sounds very impressive! 5000ft range?!! Wohhhh!!!! You could speck out a large glider and it'd still be in range!!!!! Any ideas who will be selling them? Or would you have to order direct through that incomprehensible website?
