I just purchased a new OLD ECO Piccolo - what I mean is I bought a new ECO Piccolo that is about 3-4 years old. It came in the yellow box with simulated wood carrying case.
I need some expert help in identifying the differences between the old version and the new version of the ECO Piccolo. I have identified the following differences between my old version and the new version of the ECO Piccolo. The old one has: - a 295 main motor - square paddles - CF tail skid - old parts list shows a 67374 tail motor pinion ... there is no such part on the new version Are these all the differences? If not what have I missed? Thanks guys... |

The Piccoboard could be an older version. Shouldn't be a problem though, still flying mine. The tail pinion was plastic and needed glueing carefully that's all.

Thanks - there was no Piccoboard - just mechanical's, no electronics. As for the tail pinion (I assume you mean the gear attached to the tail motor) - it was metal and already attached to the motor.

That sounds like a later tail motor then. I just remembered that the older hubs had no plastic "pip" on the end of the bearing stubs; this made the bearings more likely to escape in a crash. The bearings clicked into place on later hubs.
