My friend Kev found last night that his Pic doesn't like the "motor cut" safety switch on his Cockpit tx. After initialising the Pic, he switched in the motor cut, fine. Then he re-armed the motor to find the motor started up (throttle still closed) and Pic leapt off the table to thrash round on the floor!
The motor cut switch is a nice safety feature for electrics, it means you can't accidentally catch the throttle and start up the prop while carrying the model, but the Piccoboard sometimes objects to it, not sure why yet.

i've been bit several times (and pretty hard too!), but when you think about it, the bites are pretty gentle next to just about any other helicopter or airplane. (and i can tell you from experience that a Hornet's bite (sting)is harder.)

Sorry to say the obvious but....

1. Never put your fingers within reach of the blades while the rx battery is connected!

2. Carry the Pic from below as if the blades are always spinning.

3. Never point a loaded gun (or Pic) at anyone!

I know how you feel Jordan, every now and then the servos go wacky and the picc goes into a full reverse, Hitting my leg. ONe time it was close to my eyes but because of my cat like moves, it only hit my arm. BUt with the CF blades it hurts alot more. Still the pain is worth the pleasure.
