Im not sure but i think pcm rx's have to be used with the same manufacturers Tx's

If you want one of the best you cant go wrong with the schulze DSP Rx's theres the 4ch 435 and the 8ch 835 both can be decased to save weight

the 835 will take std xtals but the 435 requires special schulze micro xtals expensive at £9 a go but i think more than worth it to have a glithcless radio system

Both Schulze Rx's also feature an led glitch counter so if you are having any interferance you can still tell even though the rx filters it out and prevents it effecting your servos and esc's.

I use the JR PCM 770 on my Eolo and its been faultless when used in conjunction with my jr pcm tx.

thanks, I am scraping my pro because another glitch with the standard ikarus supplied receiver caused another crash (pitch servo causes sudden change in altitude !!). I am really interested in the jr pcm 770 since it is only about £50 from inwoods. Does anyone know for sure if it will work with a sanwa radio? otherwise may have to go with a schulze for my new CP heli - either hornet or zoom. You DO know that JR do a PPM version of the 770 don't you?
That would work fine with your Sanwa (in PPM mode of course).
In fact, I've got a nearly unused one that I'd consider selling. PM me if interested.

thanks, I am going to try and get hold of a schulze one. No more glitches for the new cp heli. Its amazing that the gws 4 channel el-cheapo does not usually glitch in the fp picollo.

Saqib, I have EXACTLY the same problem with a Pro, it glitches the pitch servo every now and then - I haven't managed to track it down yet, is it definitely an rx induced problem?

I am pretty certain it was the receiver. I have ordered a schulze 835 for the hummingbird cp. I have given up on the pro since another crash caused more expensive damaged parts(personally I think the hummingbird and zoom are cheaper). Having said that the pro was very sensitive and stable when it worked. I know it was the receiver because I moved the receiver from the brushless esc and this reduced the glitching but not totally and I have run the electronics on its own and when the motor begins to start there is a slight glitch and also at 50% throttle. Now this may not sound like a lot but on a CP it is since the machine is designed to be sensitive so it can perform all those fancy maneouvres! PS if anyone wants a collective slider with attachments then let me know (since I have no use for it)
