Default Is the Futaba T 6x a radio to buy ?

Hi,again. Toghether with my new H2 I got a Futaba T6XS radio... (I intended to get a cheap good one).
Now i am reading that is not easy to programm the curve... does it means is no good for helis? MAy be I still would have the possibility of changing it...
If it´s good for beginners, I´ll keep it, and sell it cheap after some time.

irt doesnt have 5 point curves and makes programming for CP a nightmare, Futabab now do a 7ch which for the money is very good, basically the same features as a (ch but less switches, different screen and no nice graphs but still very easy to programme with the jog dial. I would try and get your LHS to swap the 6 for the 7 if they will?

or eclipse 7, but the price of the JR and Futaba sets are coming down fast, saw a 9ch for just over 200 quid with uprated battery at Sandown, my mate paid 110 for his 7ch with uprated battery and the JR2106 (think thats it) was under 100 quid, all have 5 point curves and other heli features. Consider i paid over 300 for my 9ch only 6 months ago.

Basically Sanwa and Hitec are of an inferior build quality to futaba and JR but they will do what you want.

Thanks a lot for the answers, I´m emailing the shop in Madrid to see if they would take the Tx6 back, though I think they´ll probably won´t like it.
Yes, I´m reading a lot about the problems with the curves in this radio...
If I still have to have it, Could I programme the curves at all?
I should have asked you before...

well if you told us the setup of your H2 it could help, for example if you were running brushless governor mode could be used, no real curve worry, if you are using a HH gyro, thats another problem dealt with, thats why im not too worried about my TX being unsuitable when i eventually get my zoom

Thanks Guinea_Pig, my set up is the stock one: Ms 300 motor, 10 t. pinion, and momentarily 600 8cells, the gyro is the Ms-24 Pyezo rate Gyro.
The thing did not fly still, waiting for me to complete the radio setup... he has a dangerous aspect, though...
